KountN ("we", "us") helps solopreneurs worldwide track business expenses on WhatsApp. This policy explains what we collect on this website, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

1. Information we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

WhatsApp phone number (with country code, stored in international +E.164 format)
Country code selected from the waitlist form
Signup source (hero or bottom form on the landing page)
Timestamp of your signup

We do not collect passwords, payment card details, or full chat history on this waitlist form.

2. How we use your information

To contact you on WhatsApp when KountN launches or opens early access
To send waitlist updates you reasonably expect from signing up
To prevent duplicate signups and abuse of the waitlist form

3. Legal basis

We process your phone number based on your consent when you submit the waitlist form and agree to this Privacy Policy.

4. Where data is stored

Waitlist data is stored in Supabase (hosted cloud database). Numbers are validated for international (+E.164) format before storage. We use industry-standard access controls and do not sell your data.

5. Sharing with third parties

We may share data only with service providers needed to run KountN, such as:

Supabase (database hosting)
WhatsApp / Meta (when we message you on the number you provided)

We do not sell or rent waitlist data to advertisers.

6. Retention

We keep waitlist entries until you ask us to delete them or until they are no longer needed for launch communications. After that, we delete or anonymise them.

7. Security

We use technical measures including:

International phone validation before submission
Database constraints so only valid E.164 numbers are accepted
Rate limiting on the waitlist form to reduce automated abuse
Encrypted connections (HTTPS) between your browser and our services

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data responsibly.

8. Your rights

You may:

Ask what data we hold about you
Request correction or deletion of your waitlist entry
Withdraw consent by asking us to remove you from the waitlist

9. Children

KountN is a business tool. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the waitlist after changes means you accept the updated policy.
